Who will be cleaning my home?

We are a small family-owned and operated business so you will see the same 2-3 cleaners each cleaning visit.

What time will Clean Essence be at my home?

For customers that are at work on scheduled cleaning days, we will come during the time that you are at work. For customers that are usually home on scheduled cleaning days, we try to come during the scheduled time. Unexpected things like traffic and cleaning visits that take longer than usual do happen to us so please allow us a 1 hour window to arrive at your home. If we are ever more than 1 hour early or late, we will call and inform you about it. We appreciate your flexibility.

Do I need to be home when Clean Essence comes?

No. Most of our customers provide us with a key or garage code. We work more efficiently when no one is home. If you are generally home on cleaning days, then that is also okay. We’ll work around each other.

What do I have to do before the cleaning?

To ensure that we focus on the more tough jobs at your home, please try to pick up clothing, toys, or other household items before we arrive. For customers that do not have time to pick up before cleaning days, please talk to us about including this into the cleaning package.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

No. We bring all supplies and equipment. However, if you have a preference for a specific product or cleaners, then we will use it. Please place it out on cleaning days.

What if my scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday?

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.

What about changing or canceling a scheduled cleaning visit?

If you need to change or cancel a scheduled visit, we appreciate a one-week notice. At the very least, please inform us 48-hours in advance. Same day notice will incur a 15% fee and at the door notice will incur a 30% fee. Last minute notices do not allow us enough time to adjust our schedule accordingly.

Am I required to sign a contract?

No. We understand that we must earn your trust and maintain your loyalty so we do not ask you to sign a contract. We depend on your feedback and comments to continuously provide you with quality service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can improve our service.

How do I pay for the service?

Most customers leave a check or cash in the home on the cleaning day. For commercial cleanings, an invoice will be billed to the account holder.
